App Pages
Turnouts List
The Turnouts List displays a sorted record of current and past turnouts for the stations you are a member of. The Turnouts Page is the app's default screen and can be accessed by tapping the middle icon in the lower navigation bar.

Turnouts page
Similar to an email inbox, the list shows the assigned group, a brief job summary, and the time the turnout was generated. You can tap any turnout to view detailed information, both while the job is active and after it has expired, allowing you to reference past incidents as needed. See more on the Turnouts page.
When a job is active, three Quick Response buttons are available:

Active turnout in the turnouts list
- - Available
- - Meet on Scene
- - Not Available
These quick response buttons work the same way as the responses in the turnouts page and will notify you if the message fails to send to the server after multiple attempts.
Note
The Quick Response button provides a fast and convenient way to reply to a turnout. However, it does not include an estimated time of arrival at the station. To share your approximate arrival time, please use the Turnouts page.
Turnout Page
The Turnouts Page provides a detailed view of every job. When a turnout is active, the page displays real-time job information, including:
- Time to Expiry
- Job Details
- Response Buttons
- List of group members who have responded
Once the turnout has expired, the page will still show job details and response records.

Job Expiry and Details
At the top of the page, you'll find the job expiry timer and job details.

Turnout page details
- Time to Expiry - Provides a visual indication of the remaining time to respond before the job is classified as expired.
- Job Details - Displays the exact information passed from comms, including the address and other relevant data.
Info
Our development team is actively working on a solution to extract addresses from incoming messages. If you'd like to see this feature implemented, please reach out via our feedback channels (Feedback channels).
Response Buttons
When a job is active, response buttons allow you to send your availability and, if applicable, your approximate time to station.

Yes, No, and Meet on Scene buttons

Time to station buttons
-
If time to station in user settings is disabled, there are three buttons for response:
- Yes - Indicates you can respond to the job and will arrive at the station.
- Meet On Scene - Indicates you will meet the crew at the scene.
- No - Indicates you cannot respond to the job at this time.
-
If time to station in user settings is enabled, there are five buttons for response:
- Fast Time - Indicates you can arrive quickly.
- Medium Time - Indicates you can arrive in a moderate time frame.
- Slow Time - Indicates you will take longer to arrive.
- Meet On Scene - Indicates you will meet the crew at the scene.
- No - Indicates you cannot respond to the job at this time.
Sending a Response
Tapping any response button sends your status to the server. Once tapped, the app will attempt multiple times to deliver your response as quickly as possible.
-
✅ If successful, you will receive a confirmation popup.

Updating Your Response
You can change your response at any time during a turnout, allowing you to provide real-time updates to your crew. This is particularly useful if you selected the wrong option or if your circumstances change (e.g., from No to Yes).
Scene Response Confirmation
When selecting "Meet on Scene," a popup will appear prompting you to contact your OIC as per standard operating procedures (SOP). You must accept this prompt before your response is sent.
Crew Responses List
The Crew Responses List displays a real-time record of who has responded, their rank, and their estimated time and distance from the station. For available members, the estimated time to station will begin counting down from the moment they respond, providing a clear indication of their expected arrival.

Turnout crew responses
- Active Responders – Crew members who confirm availability will appear at the top of the list as they respond in real time as indicated with green icons.
- Meet On Scene Responders - These members appear next in the list indicated by blue icons.
- Unavailable Crew - These members are listed third to indicate they cannot attend the job and are indicated with red icons.
- Away Crew – These members are listed fourth to indicate who is away from the station and are indicated with purple icons.
This structure ensures that all attending crew members have an accurate view of who is responding and how far away they are.
Settings Page
The User Settings Page offers a range of customization options for different parts of the app, ensuring flexibility where needed. To access the settings, tap the right button in the bottom navigation bar.
The settings are divided into three sections:
- User Settings – Personal preferences and account-related options.
- Group Availability – Settings related to your availability for turnouts.
- App Settings – General app configurations and system preferences.
User Settings
In the user settings are all of the settings to customize the app to your style and requirements:

User settings
- Role - Enables a user to self-nominate their role. Default is Firefighter or the previous assignment before version changes less than V3.3.2. There are may ranks and roles available. In most cases the role is the rank e.g. Captain. Below is the current list of roles available.

Rank values
- Qualifications - Enables a user to self-nominate their qualifications. Default is no qualifications or the previous assignment before version changes less than V3.3.2. Not all qualifications are present. This list was created from consultations with many permanent and auxiliary firefighters. These qualifications were deemed to give the most useful information to all viewers of the group. Below are the current qualifications available.

Qualification values
- Alert Sound - Enables a user choose the alert sound for the turnout alert notifications. Currently only "Default" option is available
- GPS Accuracy - Sets the accuracy of the GPS data sent when sending a response to a turnout, options are: Last, Low, and High. (Note: lower accuracy will have less battery impact while higher accuracy will give a better estimated distance to station)
- Disable Crew Response Notifications - Diables crew response notifications when another crew member responds to a turnout
- Use Time to Station For Acknowledgment - Shows three buttons for time to station when responding in the turnouts page. When off, buttons default back to acknowledge, scene, and unavailable
- Use 24 hour time - Sets all timestamps in the app to 24hr time when on and AM/PM when off
- Time inputs - Three inputs to allow you to set the time to station for the three buttons shown in the Turnouts page. Fast Time, Medium Time, and Slow Time are only visible when "Use Time to Station For Acknowledgment" is enabled
Note
The Alert Sound feature currently only offers a "Default" option due to platform restrictions on handling custom sounds in modern apps. However, our developers are working on expanding sound options for future releases.
Android users can override sounds per notification channel through their device settings—see our notifications troubleshooting guide for more details.
Group Availability Settings
The Group Availability Settings allow you to manage your availability for each group you belong to. This section also displays a list of current availability statuses for all other crew members within the group.

Unavailable - You cannot immediately respond to a job (e.g., due to work) but will still receive notifications.
Away - You will not receive notifications and will be marked as away for turnouts (e.g., when on holiday or too far from the station).
When selecting an availability status, a confirmation popup will explain each mode on submission.
