Automatic Updates

Keeping MTEL Connect up to date is essential. Each update delivers new features, enhanced functionality, performance improvements, and important security enhancements.

Updates are released regularly. If your mobile device has automatic updates enabled, MTEL Connect will upgrade seamlessly in the background. While some updates are minor, others introduce significant new capabilities that improve your overall experience.

For critical updates, MTEL will always publish a news item to ensure you are informed and can take any necessary action.

Currently, around 80% of users have automatic app updates enabled. If you do not, you can follow the instructions below to turn on automatic updates.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to use automatic updates, you can simply reinstall the app manually whenever a new version is available.

Update Issues

Sometimes the automatic updates are unable to update the app. Simply uninstall the current version. This will alow the new version to be installed.

Android

1. Go to the Play Store
2. Click on the profile button a the top right of the app. This will take you to the Google Account management page.
3. Click Manage apps and devices
4. In this page is a list of apps that have updates available.

iPhone

1. Go to Settings
2. Scoll down to Apps
3. Go to App Store
4. Scroll down to Automatic Downloads
5. Turn on App Updates
